Job Title:  Entry-Level Call Center Representative

Our client needs multiple Entry Level Call Center Representatives to respond to pension and health & welfare inquiries from plan participants. The position is entry-level and recent college grads are encouraged to apply!

The pay rate is $14/hour and the contract position, expected to continue for 3 to 5 months, could become permanent for the right person.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer questions and handle problem resolution on pension and health & welfare issues in a call center
  • Sort client mail and respond to participant letters
  • Process coverage changes and send out supporting documentation
  • Spend approximately 90% of time on phones, averaging 50 calls per day

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Recent College Grads are encouraged to apply!
  • Any call center experience is a plus
  • Ability to pass the following tests: Spelling/Grammar, Typing, Data Entry Keystrokes, Customer Service Survey, Telephone Etiquette
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style based on a caller's needs
  • Ability to respond well in a stressful, dynamic environment
  • Flexible, critical thinking skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a desire to help people
  • Reliable transportation (public transportation is not available)
