BTHR BeneTemps Employee Spotlight: Ellen Doren BTHR Solutions knows that our success depends fully on the success of our contractors in their assignments. Our goal with every placement is to meet the needs of each client and exceed their expectations. We are extremely fortunate to have outstanding professionals in our contractor pool who achieve this goal each and every time they are placed. We are pleased to shine the Employee Spotlight on Ellen Doren, who is our outstanding contractor this month.
I've been very lucky," Ellen says. "The work has been very steady for me. I've been able to work full-time, but also have some flexibility. And the experience of working in so many different industries and with so many different plan designs and systems is such a great education." But Ellen's favorite aspect of contracting is the project-based nature of many of her assignments. "It is very satisfying to see a project from start to finish," Ellen says. "One of my assignments involved merging four large 401(k) plans into one plan because of a corporate merger. I arrived during the vendor selection process and was involved in the project all the way to the end. It was great to be a part of that whole process." Ellen is wrapping up her 19th BTHR/BeneTemps contract this month at Staples in Framingham, MA. Her supervisor, Lisa Blasdale, Benefits Strategy and Design Manager, can see why Ellen has been so successful. "Ellen is very detail oriented and knowledgeable about benefit plans," Lisa says. "She is ambitious and really owns the project she is working on. Ellen has been a great extension of our team."

Ellen
joined BeneTemps back in 1996. "I answered a tiny ad for experienced
benefits professionals in the Boston Globe," Ellen says "because I knew
I wanted to keep my focus working in benefits. I met with [then owner]
Bob Spiegelman and he placed me in my first assignment within a couple
of weeks. I've been working for BeneTemps ever since!" Ellen has
completed 18 different contract assignments for BTHR /BeneTemps!
